The VG 1.5 Sewer and Septic Vent Pipe Filter fits on a 1.5 inch pipe. The printing on the pipe will read 1.5 inches, and the inside diameter will be 1.5 inches. The outside diameter will measure 1.9 inches. Your vent pipes may be different sizes, don't assume they are all the same. Measure carefully.
